88 Stitches is a modern local yarn shop located in Walnut Grove, North Langley, just minutes from historic Fort Langley and a short distance from TransCanada Hwy. off Exit 58 (200th St. Langley). Both Walnut Grove and nearby Fort Langley have fantastic restaurants for your lunch or dinner stops during the crawl.

Since opening our doors in 2007, we’ve made it our mission to stock quality yarns, knitting books and supplies we’re passionate about, while offering friendly and helpful service. Our stock is constantly changing and evolving, with new items available on our “New Arrivals” table and on our discount shelves at 30-50% off. We love to support local designers and locally handmade artisan gift items.

We stock a beautiful selection of hand-dyed yarn Lichen and Lace, TurtlePurls Striped Turtle Toes, Wild in the Woods and Malabrigo Yarn. With the exception of Malabrigo from Uruguay, all of our hand-dyed yarns are Canadian made.

We have a fantastic selection of Opal sock yarn, Lopi, Biches & Bûches, Retrosaria Mondim and favourite commercial yarns such as best-selling Berroco, Cascade, Drops, and Illimani Yarns, just to name a few. You’ll fall in love with our cute gift items too!

On Saturday, April 27 from 12-4 pm, Josée Paquin of UandIKnit is our special guest and she’s joining us at the shop with a trunk show. We’re always excited and inspired when local designer Josée brings along her extensive knitwear collections, including accessories and gorgeous sweaters. It’s fun to discuss her design process and see what’s new on her busy knitting needles.
